Sustainable Fashion

I don't consider myself to be the most stylish person, but I do have a love for fashion. It all started when I did textiles in school and I had to research fashion designers that inspired me. This is where I stumbled upon creative geniuses from Versace to McQueen, and why I truly believe that fashion is an art form in itself! 

However, the reality behind the fashion industry is not so pretty: fast fashion comes at high social costs running on human rights violations, poor working conditions, low wages, and long hours for garment workers. This social unsustainability is matched with devastating environmental costs as this industry is the world's second largest polluter following the oil industry!

This is why I want to devote this section of my blog to sharing my tips on how you can support sustainable, slow fashion.
